As the Photovoltaic industry strives to reduce production costs of solar cells, silicon carbide carriers are replacing many of the quartz carriers and other parts. POCO SUPERSiC® silicon carbide product line includes long, horizontal carriers and standard horizontal carriers together with a long sled. Many of these parts have been successfully used to reduce production costs in semiconductor fabs, replacing quartz or other silicon carbide parts.

Typical Semiconductor and Photovoltaic industry applications are CVD, LPCVD, and RTA.
